Entries required by the 22nd March 2008

The competition is organised by the British Historical Games Society.  Entry fees and any queries to be addressed to BHGS Challenge, 167 Ravenstone Drive,Greetland, Halifax HX4 8DY. E-mail paul.brandon@appleyardlees.com   All correspondence must be accompanied by a SAE.  Players who indicate an e-mail address will receive details via e-mail.  Admission to the tournament is at the sole discretion of the organisers and their decision on all matters is final. An application to enter denotes acceptance of these rules. 

The entry fee is £22 per player. Entry can only be made by sending payment.  No pre booking by e-mail or other means is allowed. Cheques made payable to  “BHGS”. Please note that due to cost constraints there will not be T-shirts provided this year. Sponsored or reduced entry fees are available to the following. Players under 18 years of age are allowed free entry, and full time students are allowed entry at half price.  All offers are restricted to BHGS members.   

Accommodation (If Required): The Bed and Breakfast Rates at the Licensed Victuallers College are indicated on the entry form below.  Please note that there are only a limited number of rooms available and these will be let on a first come basis. Most rooms are designed for multiple beds and the rate for those sharing is reduced. All rooms are student style campus accommodation, with communal facilities and you will need to bring your own towels and soap. * The BHGS will make a contribution to their members on site accommodation. A useful link to a Hotel Guide for the area is available for players who prefer a higher standard of accommodation. 

Catering: This year we are providing a full a la carte menu and it is rumoured that we will have candles and tablecloths. Breakfast will also be available on a cash basis for non-residents. Additionally we will have full catering and snacks available throughout the weekend and extended opening hours in the wargamers bar.
