Britcon is a FULL 2 DAY TRADE SHOW, including a wide variety of Demonstration, Participation and Display games together with the UK Nationals Tournament which will be taking place throughout the weekend. 

2009 will see our Trader rates frozen at their 2008 level, however in response to feedback from previous Traders this year we are also introducing new initiatives to help our Traders achieve better exposure and better sales from the show in 2009.
A new partnership Miniature Wargames will mean the entire 2009 Britcon Show Guide appearing in the full circulation of the August edition of Miniature Wargames, in addition to free copes of the Guide being distributed to each of the competition and expo attendees. Miniature Wargames are also offering discounted Britcon 2009 advertising rates to all Britcon traders in their August issue, a saving of 1/3 on their standard rates. The 2009 Show guide will now also include editorial space for a 50-word catalogue entry for all of our exhibitors, allowing you to highlight the ranges you will be bringing to the show, as well as announcing  any new product launches and special offers you may be running at the show.

The BHGS will be sending out a series of regular email shots throughout July & August to all the registered players specifically to promote our traders. If you have any exciting announcements or news, or if you simply want to encourage our competitors to "order in advance - collect at show", we want to hear from you! We will also continue with the highly successful Shopping Frenzy Hour on Sunday to allow competitors a greater opportunity to visit the Trade Stands and continue with the familiar additional 2 extra days for those that wish to come along early, and remember that your parking on site is FREE. 

Our aim is to offer a varied diet of wargaming activities and create an event that will be a showcase for the hobby. Each and every year that we have hosted the show it has been featured on a variety of Radio & TV Stations, Local and National Newspapers, so come along and help us make this years Britcon a memorable event.  THE BHGS TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BEST TRADER, AND IS HELD UNTIL NEXT YEARS BRITCON. In order to take advantage of the extra promotion available via the August edition of Miniature Wargames you will need to confirm your participation as a Britcon Trader by Friday June 26th, and provide artwork by Friday July 3rd. Traders booking after this date will still enjoy all of our on-site and web-based promotion, but will miss out on the extra benefits of inclusion in the August edition of Miniature Wargames.

The event is organised and administered by the British Historical Games Society.  All booking forms and queries to be addressed to The BHGS, The White Cottage, 8 Westhill Ave. Epsom, KT19 8LE. Those Traders who indicate an e-mail address will receive details via e-mail.  Admission to the event is at the sole discretion of the organisers and their decision on all matters is final. An application to attend denotes acceptance of BHGS rules and booking terms.  Bookings can only be made by sending payment with booking at least 14days before the event.  No pre booking by e-mail or other means is allowed.
