Sportsmanship & Other Awards 2001

	The Society of Ancients Persian Helmet, awarded for sportsmanship in the Ancient categories, resulted in a dead heat between Phillip Stirpe playing WAB and Peter Morrison playing Armati.		The BHGS Crusaders Sword, being presented by Bob Whitehouse for sportsmanship in the modern periods,  to Graham Bryson competing in 19th Century POW
The BHGS trophy for the best demonstration / participation game was a dead heat between last years winners Martin Hackett's of Dark Age Warlords and Derby Wargames Club.		The BHGS trophy for the best trader attending this years Nationals being presented by JD McNeil to Andy Sherwell of Gripping Beast. They win a free 6' stand at next years Britcon
	The BHGS trophy for the best terrain (Ancients) at this years Nationals was presented to Graham Fordham, but we much preferred this one of Alison.		The BHGS trophy for the best painted army (Ancients) on display was presented to Adrian Nash for his Roman 25mm Army.
The BHGS trophy for the best painted army (Modern) on display was presented to David Reynolds for his British Colonial Army.		The BHGS trophy for the best painted Fantasy Army was presented to Gerry Marshall.
	The BHGS trophy for the best painted Warhammer Ancients Army was presented to Rob Broom		The lucky winner of the Delegate Badge Draw was Phil Baxter who receives free entry and En-suite accommodation at next Years Britcon
The Winners of the Pub Quiz for at least the third year in a row where the Society of Ancients team, they where each presented with a Beer Tankard donated by Lancashire Games

The BHGS would like to thank its many sponsors.
