Luncarty is a small village about 4 miles north of Perth.

Look out for slip road signposted LUNCARTY (roughly 3 minutes after Inveralmond Roudabout). Arrive Luncarty, Juniors football club on left (large car park and football pitch)

Perth Wargames Club have met at the local Juniors Football Club Social Club for a number of
years now and the club house is the venue for the 2006 Scottish Open.

The nearest sizeable accommodation is in Perth City.

The following hotels are within striking distance of the club house (local members will provide
transport from the fair city to Luncarty if required) and are recommended;-

Lovat (near centre of Perth)
Queens (next to Perth railway and bus stations)
Salutation (centre of Perth)
Ramada (centre of Perth)
Quality Station (next to Perth railway and bus stations)
New County (centre of Perth)
Express Holiday Inn (edge of Perth)
Waverley (centre of Perth)

For the flush of pocket Gleneagles is some 15 miles south of Perth !

Perth relies on tourism and has a vast number of guest houses and bed and breakfastestablishments to boot. Most of these can be found at www.visitscotland.com

Perth can be easily reached by road, rail and is an easy trip from Glasgow international, Prestwick or Edinburgh airport. Rail and bus links from Glasgow and Edinburgh are good although the train set up from Edinburgh is not.

If you're thinking of coming from a distance do contact me for advice and support - even if it's just a query. We'll do our best to make everyone very welcome including making the trip and stay easy.
