The National Wargames League will be taking place at Campaign 09 over the weekend 9 th /10 th May 2009. The venue is the unique Middleton Hall, thecentre:mk. In this large and spacious location the National Wargames League has prospered, this is the Leagues ninth season in the current venue and format. Each League consists of a number of six team divisions. For the 2009 season the leagues are 15mm Ancients League using Field of Glory, the 25mm Ancient League using DBMM, the 15mm POW League, the15mm Flames of War League and introducing a 1/300 moderns League for this season. The further development of the embryonic one day DBR League on Saturday only will continue. DBR will also take place on Sunday in the form of a 15mm open singles tournament.
The organisers would be grateful if those teams still intending to commit to the event would inform them as soon as possible. The nature of the divisional format requires expansion in multiples of four or six teams, and although we will do our utmost to accommodate later entries divisional restriction may force us to make an early cut off. Details of the National Wargames League can be found on the Milton Keynes Wargames Society website www.mkws.org.uk and any further enquiries should be directed to Neil Sutherland either by email chairman@mkws.org.uk or telephone 01908 615788.
