This was before the owners went to bed and left us to the bar, at £2.50 for a bottle of Pinotage, they could trust us :-)))) Zululand on the approaches to Rorke's Drift, unchanged since the time of the battle.

It was Iains birthday while we were out there, and the Melissa Kupczyk  is seen here presenting him with his cake No good South African birthday would be complete without a drink of Sorghum beer, believe me it was not at all like Carlings. As part of the birthday celebrations Colin laid on his own personal witch doctor, and full accompanying troop of dancers. This one however was a tadge older than the rest, the significance at first escaped us

Iain gets a bit more than he bargained for and we think that the ensuing ceremony was in fact a wedding. Meet Mrs McNeil ! A shot of the main arena complete with swimming pool. A bit  ostentatious or what ?. Simon Hall ends up in the pool after winning the championships, it was a cheap old watch anyway.......oooopps !

The team arrive back at Heathrow minus those that stayed on for another week. Durban was fantastic and will be a darn hard act to follow, but we'll be there at New Orleans to play our part ;-) Colin Webster looking emotionally drained after an exhausting week, and an intense discussion on the the evolvement of the Attic Helmet. Ok well maybe not !
